ASHLEIGH I am passionate about creating a safe space for individuals ready to explore their own healing and work towards creating a more fulfilling life. I believe that allowing yourself to heal from past trauma creates space for deeper connections, trust and authenticity. I have been trained in EMDR, DBT, 12-step work and am currently completing a 3 year somatic experiencing training. I specialize in treating partners and family members of those suffering from addiction/alcoholism. I feel that engaging in therapy is a gift we can give ourselves as we work towards self-acceptance and increasing vulnerability. Investing in ourselves and staying curious about our personal growth leads to deeper connections in life and greater fulfillment. Clients may be struggling due to addiction, past trauma, negative thoughts, negative self-beliefs, low confidence, low self-esteem, anxiety, nervousness, fear, depression, lack of hope, or any combination of these. I am also experienced in working with couples who are in conflict. I love to help people heal and am passionate about positive mental health. I know it is hard to make the decision to reach out for help that first time. I've been there; but it could be such an important step for your future. If I can't help I'll work with you to find someone who can. I am a trauma informed therapist and utilize EMDR in conjunction with ACT and other modalities. I like to explore meaning, values, and the past while also helping others utilize mindfulness and strive for change through new goals. I am experienced in addiction and can offer court ordered drug and alcohol assessment and recommendation.
